Research Proves the Best Way to Consume Antioxidants to Prevent Disease, Cancer and Other Ills of Aging

Cleveland, Nov. 17 - Health Research and Studies Center in Los Altos, California published results from a recent study of the Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity (ORAC) of three different preparation and intake methods of fruits and vegetables. The research test used the ORAC levels in the blood as indicators of successful absorption from the digestive system of antioxidants from fruits and vegetables.

The three most common methods for individuals to consume fruits and vegetables are as a whole raw food, as juice from a juice extractor or processed by a Vitamix machine. Research proves the Vitamix machine provides the greatest intake of antioxidants of fruits and vegetables of the three most common preparation and intake methods.
