Immediately respond to consumer inquiries that come through the Direct Household Sales Center via all media, i.e. phone, email, web communications (i.e. live chat), fax, and direct customer contact (walk-ins), regarding Vita-mix retail products and services and other general product and/or company knowledge with the intent of effectively closing the sale.
Qualify customers to determine their wants and needs regarding Vita-mix products, and communicate how the benefits and features of Vita-mix products meet and exceed their requirements to buy, therefore creating a loyal customer.
Take full advantage of all outbound contact opportunities to maintain their own and Vita-mix's sales levels.
Establish rapport with customers, ask open-ended questions and document their responses for future reference when making outbound contacts.
Work closely with all household distribution channels to assure accurate information is being obtained from and given to customers; and proper procedures are being followed.
Collect correct advertising codes for all inquiries and orders.
Assure accurate and real time data entry of all leads, sales, and customer file updates directly into computer system.
Support our International Dealers by forwarding contact information for potential customers in their country, and providing dealer information via email or phone to customers.
Understand and be able to communicate the differences in all of our products and distribution channels to customers, in a positive, sales oriented fashion.
Understand and be able to promote our affiliate program when it applies to a customer or potential customer; gathering the necessary information while they are on the phone.
Detect and report any problems regarding quality of products or services or improper or unusual conditions regarding company operations or equipment.
Handle consumer complaints and requests when possible; referring questionable cases to a supervisor when needed.

Education and Experience Requirements: Associate's Degree (two year college or technical school)
Experience: Two to four years related experience
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office

This position requires a bi-lingual candidate with speaking and reading and writing fluency to handle telephone calls in both English and Mandarin languages. Position also requires night and weekend call center working hour flexibility.
